ATN visita Borlova, Roménia, no âmbito de um curso de educação ambiental organizado pela RE e a ARK Foundation || ATN visits Romania as part of an environmental education course organized by RE and the ARK Foundation

Entre os dias 22 e 27 de Outubro, a ATN esteve presente no curso de educação ambiental organizado pela Rewilding Europe e a ARK Foundation, em Borlova, Roménia. 

O curso, realizado na área Rewilding em Cárpatos, teve como principal objectivo a partilha de técnicas de educação ambiental dirigidas aos vários tipos de público.

Composto por sessões teóricas e práticas, os participantes do curso - um total  de 16 pessoas de 10 nacionalidades -, aprenderam e discutiram técnicas e dinâmicas sobre a melhor forma de conectar as pessoas com a Natureza, através de saídas de campo que proporcionem o contacto com a mesma, estimulando todos os sentidos. 

Para além disso, proporcionou a partilha de experiências com outros parceiros de outras áreas rewilding.

Durante a visita, os participantes ainda tiveram a oportunidade de conhecer o centro interpretativo do Bisonte, a sua área de reintrodução (cerca de 5000ha), apreciar as paisagens de Cárpatos (nas fotos) e identificar vestígios da sua fauna (raspado e dejectos de urso, [última foto]).

ATN visits Romania as part of an environmental education course organized by RE and the ARK Foundation

From October 22nd to 27th, ATN was present at the environmental education course organized by Rewilding Europe and the ARK Foundation in Borlova, Romania.The course, carried out in the Rewilding area in Southern Carpathians, had as main objective the sharing of environmental education techniques aimed at the various types of public.

Composed of theoretical and practical sessions, the participants of the course - a total of 16 people from 10 nationalities -, learned and discussed techniques and dynamics on the best way to connect people with Nature, through field trips that provide contact with the same, stimulating all the senses.In addition, it has provided sharing experiences with other partners from other rewilding areas.

 

During the visit, the participants still had the opportunity to get to know the interpretive center of the Bison, its area of ​​reintroduction (about 5000hectars), to appreciate the landscapes of Carpathians (photos) and to identify traces of its fauna (scraped and bear dejectos , [last photo]).

Na comemoração do “Dia dos Insectos”, a ATN esteve presente nas actividades desenvolvidas pela Plataforma de Ciência Aberta, no dia 21 de Outubro, em Barca d’Alva. 

Durante o dia de sábado, os, cerca de, 40 participantes, incluindo os escuteiros, fizeram captura de insectos para depois fazer a sua identificação. 

No final do dia, já em Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, foi ainda dinamizada a acção “Café com Ciência”, em que vários “experts” da área dos insectos estiveram à conversa com a população local, que teve oportunidade de fazer questões e/ou dar algumas sugestões. 

 

O “Dia dos Insectos” foi precedido por uma série de actividades, dinamizadas pela Plataforma de Ciência Aberta, nas escolas, e por uma atividade de identificação de borboletas nocturnas. (realizada no dia 20, sexta-feira).

ATN's participation in the activity of "Insects Day"

At the commemoration of "Insects Day", ATN was present at the activities developed by the Open Science Platform, on October 21, in Barca d'Alva.

During the day, about 40 participants, including the scouts, caught insects and then made their identification.

At the end of the day, already in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, the "Coffee with Science" action was also stimulated, in which several insect experts were in conversation with the local population, who had the opportunity to ask questions and / or give some suggestions.

The "Insects Day" was preceded by a series of activities, organized by the Open Science Platform, in schools, and by an activity of identifying nocturnal butterflies, (held on the 20th, Friday).
